Our Founder

Meet Julie — Multi-Award-Winning Entrepreneur, Visionary & Founder.

The revolution starts in the body. The revolution starts now.

Julie’s work emerged from lived experience. The raw, unfiltered reality of losing herself after toxic relationships that shattered her sense of worth and belonging. Trauma from the Manchester Terror Attack, coupled with the impact it had on her daughter’s health, left lasting imprints that manifested within her body. Despite outward success, Julie found herself trapped in cycles of emotional pain and disconnection, carrying the silent burden of unresolved trauma.

But trauma doesn’t just live in the mind. It roots itself deep within the body, especially in the pelvic bowl, the sacred centre of feminine power, creativity, and life force. Years of unprocessed emotional wounds, generational shame, and conditioned silence stagnated in Julie’s pelvis, creating not just energetic disconnection but physical dis-ease. Her symptoms were impossible to ignore: bacterial vaginosis, HPV, cysts, pelvic numbness, cervical ectropion, chronic inflammation, a difficult birth story, and eventually osteoarthritis in the hips, which led to two hip replacements before she could fully grasp the depth of what her body had been holding.

This mission deepened when Julie witnessed her own daughter’s battle with dysmenorrhea, PTSD and epilepsy, a brutal reminder of how trauma, silence, and systemic gaps in women’s healthcare continue across generations. Supporting her daughter’s healing cracked open her own, leading her down the path of intuitive bodywork, Belief Coding®, and Holistic Pelvic Care®. Through her own embodied journey, Julie healed PTSD, her gynaecological issues, and the deep-rooted trauma that had fractured her relationship with pleasure, power, and self-worth.

Our Mission

To guide women home to their bodies, their wisdom, and their power.

Our mission is to give every woman who comes to The Vaginal Reflexologist an experience that is genuinely unlike anything else available, one that is deeply personal, trauma-informed, and held with complete integrity.

Through vaginal reflexology, feminine embodiment practices, belief work, pelvic health education, and compassionate support, we create safe spaces where women can release shame, heal from trauma, and reclaim the fullness of who they are.

At the heart of this work is a simple belief: women deserve to understand their bodies without fear, embarrassment, or stigma. Through our Know Your Normal campaign, we support women in developing deeper awareness of their vaginal wellness and pelvic health, recognising changes within their bodies, and becoming confident advocates for their own wellbeing.

Vaginal reflexology is also grounded in a deeper understanding of the pelvis as a centre of feminine energy, intelligence, and life force. Across ancient traditions, the womb and pelvis have long been honoured as sacred, a place of intuition, creation, and embodied wisdom. This work remembers that truth, inviting women to reconnect with what has always lived within them.

Rooted in Ancient Wisdom

Vaginal reflexology is also grounded in a deeper understanding of the pelvis as a centre of feminine energy, intelligence, and life force. Our Vision

A world where every woman understands her body without shame, trusts her inner wisdom without question, and feels empowered to take ownership of her health, pleasure, power, and purpose.

Our vision is to be recognised as the most thoughtfully run, genuinely values-led women’s pelvic health practice, one that is known not just for what it offers, but for how it makes women feel: seen, safe, and deeply understood.

We envision a future where conversations about pelvic health, trauma, feminine embodiment, and feminine vitality are normalised. Where women know their normal and feel confident seeking support when something changes. Where future generations grow up viewing their bodies as sources of intelligence, strength, and possibility, rather than silence, fear, or disconnection.

Through education, advocacy, public speaking, retreats, empowerment workshops, coaching, and community, we are working to create a cultural shift in the way women understand and experience pelvic health.

Our Values

These are the five values that guide every decision at The Vaginal Reflexologist, from how we hold space for a woman in session to how we speak about pelvic health in the world. They are not aspirational. They are who we already are.

  • Compassion

We meet every woman with genuine care, empathy, and without judgement. We believe healing begins when people feel safe enough to be seen, heard, and accepted exactly as they are.

  • Courage

We are committed to speaking openly about what has been silenced or stigmatised. We challenge outdated narratives around vaginal wellness and pelvic health, facing discomfort with honesty and creating space for truth and healing.

  • Connection

We believe healing is rooted in connection, to self, to the body, and to others. Our work supports women in rebuilding trust with their physical, emotional, and inner wisdom.

  • Empowerment

We equip women with knowledge, tools, and awareness so they can understand their bodies and trust their own decisions. We do not create dependency; we foster self-trust and autonomy.

  • Legacy

Every woman’s healing extends beyond her alone. When one woman reconnects with herself, it creates ripple effects that positively impact families, communities, and future generations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does pelvic floor awareness mean and why does it matter?

It means developing a personal baseline, an understanding of what your body feels like, looks like, and functions like when it is well. Not a textbook definition of normal, but your normal. Once you have that baseline, you are far better equipped to notice when something shifts, and to seek support sooner rather than waiting until symptoms become impossible to ignore.

But it goes deeper than symptom awareness. The pelvis is not only a physical structure. It is a centre of feminine energy, creativity, intuition, and power. Many women are disconnected from this space entirely, not because something is wrong with them, but because they were never taught to pay attention to it. Know Your Normal is an invitation back.

Some of the most common include chronic pelvic pain or tightness, a pelvic floor too tight, urinary leakage or urgency, pain during sex or smear tests, reduced sensation or libido, postpartum or menopausal changes, and a general sense of disconnection from that area of the body.

From an energetic perspective, other signals worth noticing include a persistent sense of feeling unsafe, difficulty receiving, creative blocks, low feminine vitality, feeling cut off from pleasure or purpose, or a sense that this part of you has simply gone quiet. The body speaks in many languages. This work supports women in learning to listen to all of them.

No. This is an educational and awareness approach to pelvic health. It supports women in developing body literacy and self-awareness, understanding their own pelvic space, recognising tension and holding patterns, and building a clearer picture of what is normal for them. It sits alongside clinical care, not in place of it.

Where it differs most from clinical approaches is in the energetic and emotional layer. A physiotherapist works with the physical structures of the pelvic floor. This work also explores what those structures are holding, the stress, the trauma, the protective patterns, the disconnection, and supports women in developing a relationship with this space that goes beyond function into genuine feminine embodiment.

Vaginal Reflexology is a self-applied, verbally guided educational practice that supports internal pelvic awareness. It draws on principles from holistic pelvic care, somatic awareness, and feminine embodiment to help women reconnect with their pelvic space physically, emotionally, and energetically.

In session, women are guided to explore areas of tension or holding, develop interoceptive awareness, and begin to understand their own internal landscape. Over time, many women describe not just greater physical awareness but a deeper sense of feminine energy activation, a felt sense of being more present, more alive, and more connected to a part of themselves that had previously felt closed off or unknown. This is womb wisdom made accessible, not as a concept, but as lived experience.

You are already starting by reading this. The first step is simply curiosity. From an energetic perspective, that curiosity is significant. Many women have spent years, sometimes decades, in a relationship of avoidance, numbness, or disconnection with this part of their body. Turning toward it, even gently, begins to shift something. The pelvis responds to attention.

Feminine energy activation does not require dramatic intervention. It begins with willingness to notice. From there, Know Your Normal offers resources, workshops, and one-to-one support that build awareness gently and without pressure. There is no prerequisite level of knowledge, and no experience too small or too unfamiliar to bring into the conversation.

Yes, and this is central to the approach. The pelvic floor is directly connected to the nervous system and stress response, which means tension is often protective rather than purely structural. Many women carry unprocessed stress, anxiety, or trauma in this part of the body, held there not as failure, but as the body doing exactly what it was designed to do.

Julie’s practice integrates trauma-informed frameworks alongside Belief Coding® and somatic approaches, creating space for women to explore this emotional and energetic layer safely and with support. Hormone balance for women, feminine vitality, and a restored sense of creative and sexual aliveness are all connected to what lives in this space. When the protective patterns begin to release, what often emerges beneath them is something women describe as coming home.

Pelvic mapping is a guided awareness practice that helps women develop a clearer sense of their pelvic floor, identifying areas of tension, holding, discomfort, or numbness. It is not a clinical examination. It is an internal awareness practice, and an energetic one.

Different areas of the pelvic space correspond to different aspects of a woman’s experience, physical, emotional, relational, creative. Through pelvic mapping, women often begin to recognise not just where they are holding, but what they are holding. This is womb wisdom in practice, the understanding that the body stores experience, and that awareness is the first step toward release. For women experiencing a tight pelvic floor, this mapping is often the beginning of understanding rather than simply managing symptoms.

Yes. With over 743,000 women currently waiting for gynaecology care, many are looking for something meaningful to do during that time. Know Your Normal and Vaginal Reflexology do not replace clinical care, but they offer something clinical care does not always reach, the energetic and emotional layer of pelvic experience.

Women on waiting lists often describe feeling passive, unheard, and disconnected from their own bodies. This work supports a different experience, one of agency, curiosity, and deepening self-knowledge. You do not have to wait to begin understanding your own body. You do not have to wait to begin reconnecting with your feminine energy. That work is available to you now.

Not at all. Many women who engage with this work are not in crisis. They simply sense that there is more available to them than they are currently experiencing. More aliveness. More connection. More access to the feminine vitality and creative power that lives in the pelvic space. Womb wisdom is not only for women in pain. It is for any woman ready to go deeper, into her body, her awareness, and her sense of who she is.

Fertility awareness methods, hormone balance for women, how to increase vaginal lubrication, supporting a healthy vaginal microbiome, these are part of every woman’s lifelong relationship with her body. Know Your Normal is the starting point for all of it.

Vaginal Health may be relevant for women experiencing:

  • Chronic pelvic pain or tightness, including a tight pelvic floor
  • Vaginismus or discomfort
  • Postpartum or menopausal changes
  • Reduced sensation or libido
  • Fear or avoidance of smear tests
  • A history of pelvic trauma or stress-related experiences
  • Women seeking feminine embodiment as part of ongoing self-care
  • Women on a lengthy waitlist looking for holistic approaches

It is also for women who are not in crisis, but who understand that awareness is a foundation for prevention — and who are ready to reclaim their relationship with their body through empowerment workshops for women and self-directed pelvic education.
